The Essentials
Consistency is key. From the grind size to the water temperature, every variable plays a crucial role in extraction. We recommend a medium-fine grind and water heated to exactly 93°C (199.4°F).
The Blooming Phase
The bloom is the initial pour where we wet the grounds and let them degas for 30-45 seconds. This releases CO2 and prepares the coffee for an even extraction.
The Pour
A slow, steady spiral pour ensures that water moves evenly through the coffee bed. This patience rewards you with a cup that is clean, aromatic, and full of character.
